Installation instructions for the TT-13B Tiger Tail Inner fender
READ BEFORE WORKING !!! at least once.
- Remove rear cowling assembly.
- Remove battery – ECU – Tool kit and Tank lift arm from plastic inner fender
- Remove bolt securing starter relay bracket.
- Remove tip over sensor from rubber mount grommet (you have to re-install this sensor relay in the same position)
- Remove all electrical harness ty-wraps and securing plastic clamps. (remember where everything went…see# 14)
- Remove lower sub frame attachment bolts from frame
- Loosen upper sub frame attachment bolts from frame (do not remove)
- Remove foot peg bracket bolts from sub frame on both sides (let exhaust hang)
- Remove 4 shoulder headed bolts from plastic inner fender and remove.
Now you should look like this.

- Insert your new Tiger Tail inner fender as shown. It’s kind of a Houdini insert and twist.


- Now attach the inner fender to the sub frame as shown with the 2 front shouldered mount bolts.

- Tweak the tail plate so that it installs under the rear sub frame mounting brace as shown.


- You may now attach your TST-13B License plate bracket at this time (if you purchased one) as shown.


- You should now make sure your electrical harness is configured correctly and going to the right places. Don’t forget your tip over sensor (proper side up)
- Re-install all mount bolts to the sub frame including exhaust hanger/foot peg brackets.
- Re-install rear cowling, battery, ecu and hump release cable.
You should be about done.!
