Tiger Tail Installation Instructions
Hayabusa 1999-2007
  1. Remove Rear Seat/Hump and Grab Rail
  2. Disconnect latch look cable from latch actuator
  3. Remove Tail fiberglass assembly (be sure to unhook taillight wiring harness
  4. Disconnect and Remove Battery
  5. Disconnect and remove ECU (and anything else you have hooked up on the tail section and stock black plastic fender
  6. Remove electrical harness from sub frame
  7. Remove Rear Brake Reservoir (be careful not to drip any fluid onto anything...yuck!)
  8. Remove the sub frame from the main frame
  9. Remove stock plastic inner fender
  10. Install TT-13 using the  same mount holes as stock inner fender
  11. Reinstall sub frame to main frame
  12. If installing a new Gel Battery, see picture




Be careful if Slamming a stock swingarm using 3rd adjuster hole.  It gets real tight in there!  Install everything else left over.  Hint, double stick-um Velcro works great.

If you cut off your square license plate light from your tail light, the fender extends out further and you can remount your license plate bracket under the tail light for illumination.
