High-Performance Engine School

Service Description

Join George for a live, in-person high-performance engine school. These engaging and interactive 2-day schools take place periodically throughout the year at Star Racing's shop. Participation is limited to 4-6 attendees to ensure quality discussion and in-depth coverage of material. Each school covers a wide range of topics from general engine design to cam optimization, head work, and Star Racing's championship philosophy — all presented by George himself. Concepts apply to all internal combustion engines! Curriculum: - headwork - porting - air flow - camshaft design and selection - exhaust system dynamics - pistons - ring seal - cylinder design - valve clearance and sizing - rocker ratios - engine geometry and weight distribution - crankshaft balance - vacuum pump applications All content has been derived from expertise gained from professional engine building in applications including Pro Stock and circle track racing to street performance. We plan to host an optional complementary happy-hour hangout with George and the other participants on the Thursday before the class begins on the next day.
