United States - we provide Free Shipping to the lower 48 (excluding cams to CA - see below)! We do ship to AK and HI but must charge a $30 service fee. We cannot ship cams to California addresses. If you have an alternate address outside of CA, then we can ship there. Or, if your order does include a cam, we can ship to CA. If you order a cam with a CA delivery address, your order will be cancelled and refunded less a $15 service charge. International - we typically do not offer international shipping as a standard practice at this time. However, please reach out to us at orders@starracing.com to see what we can do. Bolt-on cams! For an M8 engine (non-VVT): if you have a Gen 1 (2017-2023), go with our Star 30/30 cam and any long pipe and you will pick up 30+ hp easily. Or, if you have an M8 Gen 2 (2024-206), go with our Star M28 cam plus a pipe. Both of these cams are bolt-on meaning you do not need any engine modifications or spring upgrades to run them. You will need upgraded lifter guides (M8726LG) for the M28 though. For a Twin Cam chain-driven engine (2007-2016), go with our Torkstar cam. No other upgrades necessary!

Upgraded valve springs are required for all M8 cams except the 30/30 and the M28 on a Gen 2 and for all Twin Cam cams with a lift larger than the Torkstar's .577" lift. For M8s we recommend our M8 Valve Spring Kit (#640SK-2). For Twin Cams we recommend our TC Valve Spring Kit - 7mm (#TC20-20350). For CVOs we recommend TC Valve Spring Kit - 5/16" (#TC20-20060).

Shorter and stubby pipes do not work very well at low RPM. They will have a big dip in the torque curve. For the best torque curve, using a long primary pipe, head pipe, and the longest muffler possible to extend past the bags is your best bet. Check out D&D, Thunder Header, Khrome Werks, and Fuel Moto for long pipes.

Stock is good up to 125 hp, 5.5g/s is good up to 145 hp and 6.2g/s is good up to 170 hp.
