The Star Thrasher 650 is the top of the Star Twin Cam camshaft range — a high-performance, high-lift cam engineered for riders who demand more from their 2007-and-up chain-drive Twin Cam engine on the street and on the track. With .650 lift and a TDC lift of .189, the Thrasher pushes well beyond the territory of bolt-on performance and into serious build territory. Aftermarket pistons and springs are required, and piston-to-valve clearance must be verified by an experienced builder before startup. Done right, the Thrasher delivers the kind of aggressive, high-output performance that serious Twin Cam builds are built around. Recommended install with Star .655 Lift Spring Kit (TC20-20350).
